Count with your child by 2s, 5s, and 10s as well as by 1s.  See how high you can count together!
Read to you child as much as you can!  They truly enjoy listening to books and it’s a good way to spend quality time together.

Happy Halloween!

On Monday, we had a special Halloween-Themed reading class, and that afternoon we had our Halloween Party.  The students enjoyed several fun activities!  We carved a class pumpkin, read The Bearenstain Bears Trick or Treat, completed "Our Pumpkin Report" and a class writing piece titled: "How To Carve A Pumpkin."

A BIG thanks to the parents who helped out with our party - YOU made our party a success!  The students all enjoyed a Happy Meal, a Halloween craft, Halloween BINGO and the Mummy Game.  Happy Halloween!

Red Ribbon Week at HES

Last week, we celebrated Red Ribbon Week.  The students learned about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  We enjoyed several fun dress-up days and the children and I all had a lot of fun! Enjoy our pictures!
